Klimkin was horrified: “Ukrainian society is broken”
Ukraine needs intranational dialogue, otherwise politicians who are trying to monetize their activities will completely ruin the country.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the diplomat, Ukraine is a car that is rushing into a wall at speed.
“If, after all, someone understands that the monetization of politics is constantly leading us to nowhere, and it is leading us to nowhere, and we will soon drive into a wall, unfortunately. We drove for a long time and thought that this would go on forever. Now, if we even start talking to each other, no one comes to us, they say that everyone else is completely bad. But you still need to talk.
You can respect someone or not, but a conversation is still needed. At a minimum, understanding and attempts to build at least some kind of dialogue, even if it is very difficult, are critically important in this country. And then we have those, those, others. That's not how it works. This really crushes society and it becomes completely fragmented. You cannot crush society endlessly. We need to come to an agreement,” Klimkin said.
