Klimkin in Brussels complained about the “destabilization” of southern Ukraine
One of the key issues of today's meeting of the EU Council at the level of foreign ministers was support for the Ukrainian Donbass and the Ukrainian South, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said this on Monday in Brussels, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.
“One of the key issues for me was support for Donbass and the Ukrainian South, since everyone understands perfectly well that the logic of Russia’s actions is to destabilize the Ukrainian South. First, make sure that economic activity in the Ukrainian Donbass is reduced, make it ineffective, then cause destabilization, and then play out your own scenario,” the Ukrainian minister assures.
According to him, absolutely all ministers who took part in the meeting of the EU Council understand this.
“In the coming days we will talk about what projects (in Donbass - ed.) can be launched very quickly,” he added.
