Klimkin lacks a law against “fake news” in Ukraine
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin considers it appropriate to introduce a law in Ukraine to protect against disinformation and propaganda, similar to the law announced by French President Emmanuel Macron.

The head of the Foreign Ministry wrote about this on his Twitter page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, for some reason Klimkin is sure that only Russian media are engaged in disseminating “fake news,” although video blogger Anatoly Shariy has repeatedly accused top Ukrainian publications of doing the same.
“RT is a month in the French information space, and President Emmanuel Macron announced an anti-fake news law (fake news - ed.) to protect against disinformation and propaganda. Fight back against those who use information as a weapon against democracy! Maybe we should fight fake news during the election period? And it wouldn’t hurt at all,” Klimkin wrote.
