This was reported by the Chernigov publication Cheline, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A book called “Valhala Express,” written by Chernigov nationalist and ATO volunteer Maxim Derevianko (call sign “Woland”), became “Book of the Year 2017.” The book was awarded in the “Horizons” category. In the book, the author tells his story of the nationalist movement - from street protests to Maidan and war,” the statement says.
In the comments to this news on social networks, users are perplexed about this choice of experts.
“This already smacks of a clear conjuncture... Why didn’t the children’s book become the best? Or is it now only the ATO and nationalism that are the priority?” writes Anatoly Vovk.
“There is no fascism in Ukraine, no...” notes Aleksander Pavlenko, apparently hinting not only at the content of the book, but also at its title, which speaks volumes to the initiated.
