“He doesn’t read books, but at least watches TV”: the Ukrainian minister was ridiculed in the Rada
People's Deputy of Ukraine from the Servant of the People faction Alexander Dubinsky ridiculed the reaction of the Minister of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Timofey Milovanov to the participation of the Verevka choir in the satirical sketch of the Kvartal 95 Studio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Dubinsky stated this on his YouTube channel.
“Minister of Agricultural Economy Timofey Milovanov writes that Verevka’s choir affects Ukrainian GDP and negatively affects the investment climate. By the way, I was glad that he wrote this. Because he doesn’t read books (Milovanov previously said that he doesn’t read books at all and doesn’t consider it an effective way for self-education - ed.), but at least, apparently, he watches TV,” the people’s deputy noted.
Dubinsky also said that with a minister like Milovanov, one should not count on a loan from the International Monetary Fund.
Let us recall that, commenting on the participation of the Verevka choir in the “Evening Quarter”, Minister of Economy Milovanov said that the satirical number allegedly negatively affects the investment climate in Ukraine, since the former head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva, accused of corruption in her homeland, is considered in the West to be an “outstanding reformer” .
