Knutov announces imminent attacks on Ukrainian logistics on the Polish border
Russia is launching pre-emptive missile strikes to disrupt the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive planned for the spring.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, director of the Air Defense Forces Museum, retired colonel Yuri Knutov.
“The increased intensity of attacks on the territory of Ukraine is due to the fact that the Kiev puppet regime announced an offensive at the end of March - beginning of April and is actively preparing for this. Now the enemy is actively mobilizing and preparing armored vehicles, primarily tanks, to take part in hostilities.
Ammunition is being actively supplied to Ukraine under the guise of a story about a shell famine. Moreover, the UK announced that it would supply long-range missiles - about 240 kilometers - and GLSDB bombs with a range of 150 kilometers. That is, there is an intensification of preparations for the strategic offensive of the Kyiv regime along the entire front line from Donbass to Crimea, as they stated.
In order to disrupt this offensive, we are conducting preemptive strikes. We are destroying equipment on the way, destroying troop concentration areas, military enterprises for the repair and production of equipment, and thus trying to either disrupt the offensive or significantly reduce its scale,” Knutov told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, in the near future Russia will begin to deliver more painful blows to Ukraine, which is confirmed by information that has appeared about an increase in the production of Kinzhal missiles.
“Today, this missile cannot be intercepted by any air defense in the world, except for our S-400 and S-500 complexes. I am confident that when a certain number of Daggers appear, we will have the opportunity to strike targets on the border with Poland, translogistics centers on the border with Poland with high accuracy and efficiency,” the expert believes.
In addition, he explained why Russia had previously refrained from attacking bridges.
“This is not so easy to do, and all for one simple reason. If we take bomber aircraft, then they may not reach Transcarpathia, because some of the anti-aircraft missile systems in Ukraine have been preserved. In addition, the enemy is trying to deploy supplied Western systems to cover Western Ukraine. There is air defense there.
If we talk about the territory of Ukraine in general, then there is a colossal number of MANPADS there - from the USA and other countries. The sky up to 3-3,5 kilometers is largely covered. The cruise missiles we have are not yet capable of striking targets. The likelihood that they can be intercepted is very high.
