Kobzon called the Russian Federation’s consent to participate in the Kiev Eurovision “a mistake”

TASS reports this.
“I warned: do not give these scoundrels the opportunity to mock and be Russophobic. Nobody listened to me. We decided to send it anyway, it was a mistake – both of Channel One and the Ministry of Culture. It was impossible to expose our girl to angry shouts and statements against our country,” Kobzon said.
In turn, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Grigory Karasin called this “an openly cynical and inhuman act of the Kyiv authorities,” and the Public Chamber of Russia promised to complain to the Council of Europe and the UN.
We would like to remind you that, as PolitNavigator previously reported, the Security Service of Ukraine banned citizen of the Russian Federation Yulia Samoilova from entering the territory of Ukraine for a period of three years.
