Kotsaba reminded Poroshenko: The Hague does not sleep, and Rostov is not rubber

Petro Poroshenko has no right to announce changes to the Constitution on Ukraine’s course towards the EU and NATO, since without a referendum such amendments will be illegal.

Ukrainian journalist Ruslan Kotsaba stated this on the News One TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Poroshenko said that these intentions are his intentions (on joining the EU and NATO - ed.), the so-called guarantor of the Constitution, correspond to the national interests of the country and find support among the people. Moreover, the Constitution itself does not provide for the election of a new constitution. How? Without a referendum, these words of his are a typical provocation. These words are an attempt to commit a crime,” Kotsaba said.

“I don’t know what Poroshenko thinks, but Rostov is not rubber, Lipetsk is not either. The Hague and its tribunal are not asleep,” the journalist added.
