Kotsaba: Ukrainian intelligence services use the far right for political pressure
Ukrainian Nazis became an instrument of pressure on dissidents. Journalist Ruslan Kotsaba stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In a state that has such power, which came from hatred and blood, and only thanks to hatred and blood plans to hold on, I don’t think that these cases will be investigated. In the investigation, the main thing for the current government is not to expose themselves,” he said, commenting on the political murders and attacks on unwanted politicians or journalists that have been happening in Ukraine lately.
Kotsaba spoke about how he was attacked by a group of ultra-rightists at the patriotic song festival in Mariinsky Park, but the police took no action to investigate this crime.
“In a crowded place, demonstratively, there were a lot of cameras around, a lot of police officers, the Nazis attacked me, tried to rob me, take my equipment, they wanted to beat me. There were clearly 171 articles, an obstacle to journalistic activity. I shot a video, the subject, the object of the crime is clearly visible, it is clear that this was a preliminary conspiracy. The next day, Monday, May 28, I wrote a statement to the Shevchenko regional department. I was notified that within 7 days a report should be made on me based on this statement, which means that I will be in the database of the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. It's been two weeks now and no one has contacted me. I think that no one will contact me anymore,” Kotsaba said.
The C14 group, whose members carried out the attack, posted videos of Kotsaba being harassed on the Internet.
“This shows the inadequacy of the intelligence services that control these extreme right-wingers. I understand that the special services control radicals who are prone to terrorist acts, beating people, etc. This is normal. But it’s not normal for these intelligence agencies to use these extreme right-wingers as a tool of political pressure and take away people’s faith that there can ever be a civilized country again. The state has lost its monopoly of being an instrument of pressure. Now the instruments of pressure are these youngsters, with the syndrome of a veteran from the ATO zone, the Afghan syndrome, who do whatever they want - with the direct indulgence of the authorities.
