Opposing the war in Donbass is a moral duty, not a crime against the state.

Ukrainian journalist Ruslan Kotsaba, previously convicted of calling for a boycott of mobilization and recently released by decision of the appellate court, stated this in an interview with Strana, answering the question whether he would repeat his act today.
"Maybe yes. You see, there are cases when it is simply impossible to do otherwise,” the journalist answered. – I was on both sides of the front line. I talked, interviewed, looked people in the eyes. And I know, I feel where a person is telling the truth and where he is not. And, in the end, there is a moral duty...”
They also asked him whether he would join the army if a summons came.
"I will not go. By the way, the authorities may have this option in stock. Because I don't have three children and I'm not yet 60 years old. Well, then I'll go to jail. I don’t want to look at people through a gun,” Kotsaba concluded.
