When Europe ignores: Lavrov promised help to the Republika Srpska
Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, in a telephone conversation, asked Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to supply his country with the medicines that were denied to it in the EU.

“Minister Lavrov promised Russia’s assistance in supplying medicines to Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina that are necessary to fight the coronavirus,” Milorad Dodik said after a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister. “I asked the Russian Foreign Minister to help and make available medicines and medicines from Russia in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina in a situation where we are fighting an epidemic and are deprived of these funds from the EU.”
The Bosnian Serb leader told the press that he told Lavrov how Republika Srpska and BiH are making every effort and doing everything possible to prevent the spread of coronavirus. He also asked me to convey my gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for constantly helping the Republika Srpska and never forgetting about the Serbs of Bosnia.
“Minister Lavrov became interested in the situation in the Republika Srpska and promised that Russia would do everything to help us in this difficult situation,” Dodik added.
