When a dog has nothing to do, it looks for fleas, says a popular proverb, which may well illustrate the statement of certain Kyiv top managers of the state of Ukraine. What is valuable in these statements is not the essence, but the desperate search for those to blame for what is happening in the eastern part of the not so long ago united country.

Do you remember that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, a certain Geletey, upon his appointment to the post, swore that he would hold a parade of Ukrainian troops in Sevastopol? A month and a half have passed... But not a single Ukrainian soldier has been seen, not even at the parade, just walking along the Kornilov embankment or Bolshaya Morskaya embankment in an embrace with his madam. What this exactly means is not clear to anyone, but it has become clear that the word of a Ukrainian officer cannot be trusted even if he has the shoulder straps of a major general on his shoulders.

Therefore, Geletey’s next kunststück was perceived more calmly and with full understanding. This is when a suspicion was born in his poor Transcarpathian head that Russia was about to use “low-power nuclear weapons” against his subordinates. Everyone who could from among his colleagues in the government of Ukraine laughed at the minister-militarist. People from the Ministry of Internal Affairs especially tried - it is possible that the guys have a good memory, they remember how Geletey worked in their department.

But okay Geletey, what can you take from a policeman, he has an indirect relationship with the army, but, as it turned out, he has followers in army circles. Moreover, on fresh tracks. Do you know who it was? – Colonel Igor Chepkov, commander of an institution with the loud name “Central Research Institute of Arms and Military Equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” and his subordinate, also Colonel Svyatosloav Sus, who held a large press conference on armaments in Kyiv on October 6. In theory, they would tell people why his army has such equipment that it poses a greater threat to its own people than to the enemies of Ukraine. But no! The colonels repeated Geletey's nonsense that militants and Russians could well use low-yield nuclear weapons. And again they talked nonsense, telling the Kyiv journalists gathered in front of them the tactical and technical characteristics of Soviet large-caliber self-propelled guns, which later became Russian.

The “evidence base” of the statement about the enemy’s “intention” to hit the poor Ukrainian troops with a “nuclear” bomb boiled down to the fact that the above self-propelled guns can also be fired with nuclear ammunition. Agree, “they can shoot” and “they shot” are two different things. And this already smacks of paranoia. Well, why - Geletea can catch ghosts, but they can’t? In addition, in Ukraine it has long been a favorite sport to look for enemies.

“Vorozhenki” from the Ukrainian anthem moved into the wild fantasies of the Ukrainian military, who, together with the SBU, are looking for spies, “Pskov paratroopers” (as well as paratroopers of any other units), saboteurs and hired killers. Moreover, they have been doing this successfully for ten years. From the very moment when Ukraine needed an external enemy for the owners of Viktor Yushchenko.

Now such searches have been given the green light - something must be done to explain the mass defeats in the war with the Donbass militias. So they are looking for a black cat in a black room. Will they find it? - Otherwise!
