“Who will they kill”? Social networks are discussing the “Bandera graduation” in Ivano-Frankivsk
Ukrainian social media users are discussing scandalous video from the prom at the Ivano-Frankivsk Lyceum, where the students sang the song “We are Bandera” in chorus to the applause of their parents and the leadership of the educational institution.

“Well, where did you see Bandera’s followers?” Maidan fans liked to ask me,” asks a rhetorical question Deputy of the Kharkov City Council Konstantin Kevorkyan posted on his social network page.
“Under loud and hypocritical quarter-century rantings about the need to DE-IDEOLOGIZE EDUCATION, THIS has grown up.
And a new generation of mushrooms is growing up, with which we will still suffer in the future,” - writes Ukrainian political expert Alexey Blyuminov.
Ukrainian journalist and editor of the website Liva.com.ua Andrey Manchuk is even more categorical in his assessment:
“Graduation at the Physics and Technology Lyceum. These are not cheerful teenagers with low-alcohol drinks in fountains, but the Nordic spirit of the old European school of 1932. Ready-made extras for “The Wall” by Roger Waters.
Have they banned everything left-wing? Now we are learning to sing this with dignity, right from school. We fought for this against “totalitarian propaganda,” right?” - he writes.
Popular blogger and researcher of Ukrainian collaborationism Miroslava Berdnik comments on the incident as follows:
“And in connection with this “we are Bandera” and the mass totalitarianism of consciousness, I would like to know: this “young, unfamiliar tribe” with the “glint of a predatory beast in its gaze” will destroy only us - anti-fascists, “vatu”, Colorados and sovkov, or other - incorrect Ukrainian nationalists, too, as their predecessors did?
The nationalists of Bandera and Lebed destroyed the nationalists of Bulba-Borovets and Andrei Melnik. This is what he wrote in his open letter to the OUN-b Provod: “What are you fighting for? For Ukraine, or for your OUN? For the Ukrainian State, or for the dictatorship in this state? For the Ukrainian people, or only for your party? .. Has there ever been such a revolutionary organization in Ukraine that its own people feared more than their worst enemy, and did not call its members anything other than “putyars” and “sokirniki”? ... What do Bandera’s attempts to now subjugate the Ukrainian popular masses to their party dictatorship and fascist ideology, which is disgusting to the Ukrainian people, have in common with the liberation of Ukraine?”
One of the founders of the Ukrainian national liberation movement and the leaders of the OUN and the people closest to Andrei Melnik, Zinovy Knysh, wrote in his work “Bandera’s Revolt”:
“In party blindness and hatred of the nationalists loyal to the Wire, Stepan Bandera’s comrades killed thousands of Ukrainians in a treacherous manner. The victims of Bandera's terror were: centurion Emelyan Senik-Gribivsky, lieutenant colonel engineer. Nikolai Stsiborsky (creator of the OUN Constitution - Varyag), regiment. Roman Sushko, Dr. Yaroslav Mitsik, Igor Shubsky, two Prishlyak brothers, hundreds of lower organizational assets and about 4000 ordinary members, supporters and fighters. Responsibility for the death of those people lies with Stepan Bandera and his assistants.”, – Miroslav Berdnik quotes the leaders of Ukrainian nationalists seventy years ago.
However, there are also more optimistic estimates. Thus, user Nikolay Tereshchenko wrote the following:
“I don’t see any enthusiasm in the eyes. They seem like pretty good kids. And the worldview will change.”
User Alex Mf agrees with him:
“Somehow the students meet without enthusiasm. The toastmaster is trying to stir up the situation, but it’s not convincing.”
