In Ukraine, they came up with another “project of the century” - the Genichesk-Kerch trolleybus line. The head of the Genichesk district state administration, Alexander Vorobyov, said this at a rally dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the loss of Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the official, this “grand project” will help Ukraine return the peninsula, which became Russian.
“As an example to all other patriots and the community, I am introducing a big project for the return of Crimea, so that our compatriots who are under the yoke of Russia on the Crimean peninsula will feel the big project of the Genichesk-Kerch trolleybus route.” The first stage is “Genichesk-Strelkovoe”, the second is “Strelkovoe-Kerch,” Vorobiev said.
In a comment to PolitNavigator, Kherson social activist Gennady Sivak emphasized that by voicing such ambitious plans, the head of the Genichesk region is hinting that he wants reunification with the Russian peninsula.
“Maybe he is hinting in this way that it is time to reunite and everyone is already waiting, they are going to help with transport connections in this case. Maybe they are counting on us to help with electricity, and they with trolleybuses, especially since now there is a new feature in Ukraine - they are buying new electric trains. Supposedly American, which is made in Kazakhstan and half of the shares belong to Russians. Maybe the same trend applies to trolleybuses,” said Sivak.
In turn, NTV journalist Oleg Kryuchkov did not rule out that the idea came to Vorobyov’s head under the influence of drugs.
