Kyiv, January 29 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The ring around the Ukrainian troops in Debaltsevo is closing, the situation really threatens to turn into a new “cauldron”. Coordinator of the medical service of the headquarters of the National Resistance, Ivan Zvyagin, stated this on air on the Sotsialna Kraina TV channel.

According to him, the military has been in a three-way encirclement for a long time, but is still repelling attacks by militias.

“The situation in Debaltsevo has always been unstable; it was surrounded on three sides. The only thing is that now this environment has become denser, the intensity of artillery shelling has increased. The situation as a whole is tense, but the guys are holding on and fighting off attacks,” Zvyagin said.
