Collaboration of "useful idiots". How the “Majlis” “fought for Ukraine” in Crimea

At the beginning of 2019, the Kherson Mejlis members, with the blessing of the “entry” of Refatka Chubarov and the Ukrainian state structures responsible for the “de-occupation,” stirred up a “documentary series” of pseudo-historical films “Crimea. 25 years of struggle for Ukraine” at the rate of one episode – one year.

The author and presenter of the epoch-making project was the head of the Kherson Mejlis and, concurrently, the head of development of the Crimean Tatar cultural and sports center “Kuresh” Ibrahim Suleymanov, who in 2020 took the initiative to create a special version of the history of Southern Ukraine, different from the “occupation” one. there is, the real history of Odessa and Kherson, inextricably linked with Russia.

It’s easy to guess that the “history of the Crimean struggle for Ukraine” is being filmed by an alternatively gifted Mejlis figure, looking from Chubarov’s cellar.

Author of the “historical cycle”

As far as can be understood from Ibragimov’s own statements, serial affairs are going so-so. And if the first episode of the “imperishable film” was filmed with funds allocated by the Ministry of Information Policy, then the subsequent ones, according to the creator of the alternative history, were created with donations from “ordinary Ukrainian people” collected by the Big Idea platform.

At the same time, the obvious modesty of the budget is confusing. In total, as they say, good Ukrainian citizens threw some 24 thousand hryvnias and kopecks into the project mug, which brings it very close to the prices for video filming and editing of some seedy rural wedding, if donations are spread out for the entire “creative process.”

In principle, looking at Suleymanov’s creation, you come to the conclusion that all the money is on the screen - and the level is appropriate.

For more than a year and a half, the head of the Kherson Mejlis managed to film only four episodes of the “epochal film” and they promised to release a couple of more episodes by the beginning of October.

It must be understood that the release of each series with such a modest financial injection automatically becomes a noticeable event, for which press conferences are held in Kherson and Kiev with the participation of not only the author of the project, but also with the involvement of some shady “chemists” from the “department of history of the state terror of the Soviet era” of the completely stripped Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences, studying the Crimean topic using waste paper from the stash of the “Majlis” and the “archive” collected from the restrooms by Vova Vyatrovich “himself”.

This whole heap of garbage is crowned by the bearded mug of Chubarov, who makes sure that the gangways go “as they should.”

_{We have already described the Kyiv dances with a tambourine around the release of the first episode of the “Crimean struggle for Ukraine”, dedicated to the events of 1991 according to the “founding fathers of the Majlis”. The plots were cut in such a way as to emphasize the “merits” of the “Majlis” in Ukraine’s acquisition of “independence”, with complete disregard for the opinion of the majority of Crimeans who opposed the collapse of the USSR.}

All subsequent episodes were filmed in the same vein: Mejlis members voiced their wet dreams, accompanied by attempts to seize power in Crimea, passing off their own criminal activity and provocations as the “struggle for Ukraine”, and not narrow clan selfish interests.

It is no secret that “political Ukrainians” and Mejlis members saw the final fate of Crimea from diametrically opposed points, but at the same time used each other as “useful idiots” in the process of eliminating the hated Crimean autonomy and the pro-Russian sentiments of the overwhelming majority of Crimeans.

_{The Mejlis members’ desire for lawlessness and legal nihilism can be seen from literally every series of “historical revelations,” but especially from the one dedicated to the events of 1994 and the short term of power of President Yuri Meshkov.}

You can have any attitude towards Meshkov’s personality, but you cannot take one thing away from him: he was legally elected by the overwhelming majority of Crimeans (72% of the votes) and it was on him that hopes were placed for a calm and systematic break with Ukraine.

Suleymanov brands Meshkov “hired by the FSB” and “an enemy of Ukrainian statehood” and for the fact that Russian advisers (for example, Konstantin Zatulin) worked in his circle, as if this is an open secret.

Everything that Meshkov tried to do was within the framework of the law and, importantly, fit within the framework of the current Crimean Constitution of 1992, which downgraded relations with Kiev to confederal ones with an eye to exit within three to five years.

The fact that in Kiev, until the very departure of Crimea, they tried not to notice this fateful nuance, without legally formalizing the de facto federal-confederal structure of a quasi-unitary state - this is already the problem of its “elites”, who stupidly hoped for the opportunity to dictate their will to Crimea through the security forces and Nazis , and “where will you go from a submarine in the steppes of Ukraine if Moscow doesn’t need you.”

Actually, in the Crimea of ​​1992 - 1994, friends of Ukrainian statehood still had to be looked for, especially in light of the illegal “referendum on independence” and, starting in December 1991, the occupation of the subject of the USSR, which was part of Ukraine only until the moment of the proclamation of this very “ independence."

_{However, knowing how hostile Dzhemilev, his entourage and the fan club reacted to the proclamation of Crimea as an autonomous republic and a subject of the USSR, refusing to recognize this fact, even despite the ratification of the new status of Crimea by the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR, one should not be surprised.}

According to Suleymanov (read Dzhemilev and Chubarov), Crimean President Meshkov was preparing the peninsula for an invasion by Russian troops in the same way as in 2014.

This version is so ridiculous and untrue that the Majlis “creators”, without noticing it themselves, are stepping into the clearing of alternative historical fiction with all their hooves.

It is enough to remember who sat in the Kremlin in 1994. Drunk Borya Yeltsin, controlled by an exiled group of “Chicago boys”, and afraid to the point of fainting of accusations of “imperial thinking” from former partners, traitors and drinking buddies in Belovezhskaya, not to mention the Western “beams of democracy”.

Mr. Yolkin timidly supported Crimea’s desire to gain independence from Ukraine and the election of Yuri Meshkov as president, but in reality this process can be described as “all by ourselves, all by ourselves.”

Further, according to the Mejlis members, when everything in Russia was ready for the invasion, Chechnya happened, “giving Crimea and Ukraine a break,” and the “pro-Russian” Kuchma - “reboot” the Verkhovna Rada, remove Meshkov and curtail the rights of the Crimean autonomy, not given to them.

Suleymanov, however, is embarrassed to remember that Kuchma’s illegal actions were accompanied by the entry of internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine into Crimea and the manual elimination of the main threat to “sacred unitarity” - the 1992 Constitution of Crimea, also supported by the city assembly of Sevastopol, according to which the peninsula could secede from Ukraine through an all-Crimean referendum, which in Kyiv and in the “Majlis” they were afraid of to the point of an avalanche in trousers.

The main thing that you feel when looking at Suleymanov’s “cinema stupidity” is not even that his “tales from the crypt” are a collection of garbage and undisguised extremism and Russophobia. The important thing is that the “useful idiots” did not understand anything and learned nothing.

_{Namely: the practice of naked force and legal nihilism, demonstrated by the Ukrainian authorities with the support of internal extremists in the illegal curtailment of the rights and freedoms of the Crimean autonomy obtained as a result of the people's will, will one day work against the lawless people, as happened in March 2014.}

If a group of scumbags commits lawlessness and then “legitimizes” it, then one of the cornerstone principles of jurisprudence “indiscriminate operation of the law” comes into force and, therefore, normal people are allowed to get up and leave so as not to sit on the same hectare with the scumbags.

In addition, as the events of the Crimean Spring showed, the millstones of history are grinding slowly but surely. The people of Crimea, in a situation of the collapse of a single country, showed the will to return to Russia without violence, in a legal way - they returned to Russia, although the path was long and thorny.

_{And this statement is true not only for Crimea, but also for other Russian lands, which, due to the historical injustice of 1991, found themselves under the occupation of the regime of Ukrainian rural fascism.}

The more aggressively the “political Ukrainians” act, the more they continue to clench the fist of repression, the closer the natural collapse of their dying quasi-state, built on lies and hatred.
