Colleagues wrote a denunciation to the SBU against a deputy who spoke out in defense of Russian schools
Several deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine wrote a statement to the SBU demanding to punish their colleague, ex-speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Voloshin, who spoke out in defense of Russian schools.
The accused published the corresponding document on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The statement says that during consideration by the Ukrainian parliament treatment to international “partners” with a call not to recognize the holding of an all-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation in Crimea and Sevastopol, the deputy allowed himself “impermissible” statements, speaking out against closing of the last Russian-language schools and stating that Ukraine has no sovereignty.
Oleg Voloshin commented on the incident on his page on the social network.
“It turns out that the call not to close the last Russian-language schools in Ukraine is equated in their violent heads with an attack on the territorial integrity of the country, and indignation at the impoverishment of our people is identical to “inciting national hatred,” he wrote.
Let us remind you that the day before, under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada, nationalists attacked at Oleg Voloshin and doused him with green paint.
