The bankers have already submitted a corresponding application for the transaction to the National Bank of Ukraine.

However, the NBU has not yet given the green light to the deal, since a curator works at the bank of Igor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov, and the institution receives stabilization loans.

According to Forbes, a state bank is also laying claim to Delta Bank’s assets, most likely Oschadbank, one of the largest telecommunications companies and several other creditors. The fate of Delta Bank itself has already moved to the political plane.

As PolitNavigator reported, experts previously suggested that the collapse of Delta Bank would have catastrophic consequences for the entire banking system of Ukraine.
