“From June 1, more than 420 thousand pensioners of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions who receive pensions using PrivatBank cards will be able to increase the size of their pension by 10% by paying with a card in the retail network,” the bank’s press service reported.
“This is “real” money, in fact, an additional pension, which we will transfer once a month to the pension card. For pensioners in the region, such an action will be a good support from the bank during a difficult time of political and economic changes in the country,” says Yuriy Akulenko, head of the Donetsk regional department of PrivatBank.
As Navigator reported, after the referendum in Crimea, PrivatBank blocked all cards and accounts of depositors with Crimean registration, regardless of their location. People who have not even accepted Russian citizenship cannot get their money back to this day. At the same time, the bank issues fines for forced late payments for previously taken loans.
