Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky commented on the scandal inflated by the grant-eating media around a comic number from the latest issue of “Evening Quarter”, in which the comedians sang a song about the burnt house of the former head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva, accused in her homeland of corruption and now hiding from the investigation in Daldon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports .
In an interview with the publication Current Time, the oligarch said that he does not consider this to be persecution of Gontareva. According to him, she should sit in London and continue to transfer her property to others before they “burn something else” for her.
In addition, Kolomoisky noted that any humor and satire is bullying of someone, however, he has not heard of anyone shooting himself or hanging himself after such bullying. “If Gontareva is the first, it will be funny,” the oligarch said.
Also, when asked if he knows that Gontareva regards his statements as bullying, Kolomoisky said: “She regards it? Well, let him go to a psychiatrist, you moron.”
“There are a ton of them in London: psychoanalysts, psychiatrists. Maybe she has developed a persecution mania if she believes that humorous programs are bullying her? And when Tymoshenko was shown as some kind of naked woman or Yanukovych was shown – was that bullying? No! And when did they show Klitschko? Or Lutsenko, that he burrs and is drunk all the time, or when he imitated Che Guevara? And when do they show Kolomoisky and Akhmetov? If you think so, then all satire and humor is baiting someone,” says Kolomoisky.
“She (Gontareva-Ed) considers herself a messiah, you know? And she’s mentally unstable and a crazy fool,” he added.
“You wanted to ask me if I sympathize with Gontareva? I don't sympathize! I sympathize with the tens, and maybe hundreds of thousands of people, depositors of various banks, whom she robbed. And who lost their money because of the exchange rate of the hryvnia, because of the destroyed banking system, who became beggars. I don't sympathize with this creature. She is not a great reformer, but a great destroyer. And I am sure that the time will come and the court will establish this. And she will be behind bars, not in England, but somewhere else,” Kolomoisky concluded.
He also spoke about the Minister of Economy Timofey Milovanov, who had previously stated that the “Kvartal” song about the fire at Gontareva’s would supposedly have a bad effect on the country’s investment climate.
“The Minister of Economy should immediately write a letter of resignation, because this speaks volumes about his level as a minister. You simply can’t find another word for this like “moron.” It’s very sad that the Minister of Economy in Ukraine is a moron,” he said.
In addition, the oligarch expressed his opinion about the Minister of Culture Vladimir Borodyansky, who had previously condemned the choir’s performance at the show.
“And Minister of Culture Borodyansky, I know for sure that he is not a moron. He apologized to Gontareva. So: it’s better to apologize to all those who suffered from Gontareva. Except Kolomoisky. Because when he apologizes for someone to Gontareva, it means that he is not a moron, but a scumbag,” Kolomoisky noted.
