Deputy Governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region Boris Filatov reported this on his Facebook page.

“The volunteer battalion of the territorial defense of the Dnepropetrovsk region will be deployed in Mariupol tonight,” he wrote.

“Donbass wait for your Russian-speaking brothers. The time has come to collect stones,” he added.

Let us remember that Filatov previously became famous for his promise to first deceive the Donbass militias by entering into dialogue with them, and then to “hang” them.

As Navigator reported, in Mariupol security forces set up about 10 checkpoints and, according to eyewitnesses, brought tanks into the city. Now protesters have gathered near the City Council, cordoned off by law enforcement officers and internal troops.
