Kolomoisky will join the impeachment of Poroshenko
Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who was forced abroad, may join the campaign for the impeachment of Petro Poroshenko, which was launched last week by Yulia Tymoshenko’s party, whose deputies in the Kiev Regional Council voted to appeal to the Verkhovna Rada on the need to clearly define the procedure for removing the president.
Political scientist Alexey Yakubin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In his opinion, Tymoshenko is now groping for topics with which she can attract the electorate. This includes a referendum against the sale of agricultural land and the impeachment of Poroshenko, who has lost popularity.

“We see that Batkivshchyna tried to initiate other topics, the same about the land referendum. Therefore, I do not rule out that this is a solution (about impeachment) – the internal kitchen of “Batkivshchyna”. Trying out themes that would resonate, seeing how they would work.
Moreover, in the context of “Fatherland”, if we see an aggravation of the Poroshenko-Kolomoisky situation in the near future, then I do not rule out that Kolomoisky will interact, including with Tymoshenko. The topic of impeachment can also be played out,” he said.
