Kolomoisky turns into the main oligarch of Ukraine
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not have an experienced team, since he accidentally ended up at the head of state.
Deputy head of the Ukrainian Institute of Analysis and Management Kirill Molchanov stated this in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets, answering a question about the problems ЗElensky in personnel policy:
“Zelensky’s problem is that he accidentally became the president of Ukraine. He has no political experience or a strong team. Therefore, various groups that helped him during the election campaigns are trying to influence him. Among them are Kolomoisky and the conditional “grant eaters” who are focused on the IMF. They bargain with each other and with the president, but he does not know who to choose for the position of prime minister, ministers, and so on,” the political scientist said.
According to him, Zelensky will delay until the last minute in appointing his people to all responsible positions.
“We will hear specific names only at the first meeting of the new Verkhovna Rada in mid-August. Then the deputies will vote for the new government and remove their immunity. As a result of all the changes, Kolomoisky will almost certainly become stronger. For the next five years, he will be the main oligarch in Ukraine,” predicts Molchanov.
