Kolomoisky admitted that he “cursed the day” when he decided to contact the Americans
Dnepropetrovsk oligarch Igor Kolomoisky knows that the FBI is investigating him.
He spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “New Time”.
According to him, he learned about the FBI investigation from the press, but so far American law enforcement officials have not approached or interrogated him.
“There is something, but we don’t know what,” Kolomoisky said.
The publication’s interlocutor also said that a steel smelting company was taken away from him in the United States, but a ferroalloy company remains, which is “alive and well, making money.” In addition, the oligarch admitted that he is a shareholder of Optima companies, which has real estate in Cleveland.
At the same time, he avoided a direct answer to the question of whether he would go to defend his position in the United States.
“I know I didn’t do anything. I invested in America with my own money. I, of course, had already cursed the day when I was convinced to do this. We already understand about the metallurgical part - minus $200 million. And as for those houses, it’s not so great either. The ferroalloy plant is our core history, and there is no escape, we are holding on to this asset. We wanted to make a big company, but all these plans have already ended. There are no big companies now,” Kolomoisky said.
