Kyiv, December 12 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky blocked a competition for the sale of a 5% stake in the Odessa port plant, which was supposed to take place the other day.
The Kiev newspaper Den writes about this, citing a source in the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the publication, back in 2005, Kolomoisky won a competition to purchase shares in the OPP, offering UAH 5 billion for it. But the competition commission did not approve the results of the auction.
“Now the governor has gained great power and is probably counting on overturning what he considers an unfair court decision. But five billion hryvnia is now, due to the devaluation of the national currency, no longer the price that the enterprise deserves,” the newspaper writes.
The Odessa port plant exports ammonia from Tolyatti, Russia, via a pipeline.
