During the introduction of the new chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration, Valentin Reznichenko, Kolomoisky was nearby - sitting at the same table with Poroshenko.
According to local media, Poroshenko thanked Kolomoisky for the “courageous step” of deciding to resign.
“As president, I cannot allow private companies to use weapons. Kolomoisky will take care of public affairs and economic activities,” his press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko quoted the president on his Twitter account.
