PrivatBank is introducing a number of restrictions on working with cash due to the threat to the lives of employees and clients in regions of Ukraine with a high crime situation - Donetsk and Lugansk regions. In particular, the work of cash collectors, cash acceptance through self-service terminals and the operation of branches have been suspended,” the bank’s press service reports.
“You can work with your accounts as usual through the Privat24 Internet bank, mobile applications, or by contacting any PrivatBank branch in neighboring, quieter areas,” the financial institution emphasized.
“We are switching to a special mode of operation in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. In the current conditions, we cannot and do not have the right to force people to go to work in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, when people with weapons break into bank branches, seize cash collection vehicles in cities and steal money, reports the press service of PrivatBank. – All client accounts are safe – they can be accessed through the Privat24 Internet bank and mobile applications. Without restrictions, you can pay with cards in stores and make non-cash transactions through self-service terminals.”
