Kolomyia militants carved Ukrainian symbols on the back of a 14-year-old teenager

In Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, six local “ATO veterans” took a 14-year-old boy into the forest, where they forced him to his knees, forced him to sing “patriotic songs,” and then carved the letters U and K on his back.

This was reported by the ICTV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the head of the Kolomyia police department, Ostap Bileichuk, these letters mean the word “Ukraine.”

“According to our information, the letters U and K mean “Ukraine.” They were scratched out with a knife.” The cause of the conflict was that the former militants and local punks, which included a kidnapped minor, did not divide the area. After a “walk through the forest,” the teenager contacted the police, and the militants were detained. Now they are being tried – the prosecutor’s office accuses them of inflicting “minor bodily harm” and kidnapping a minor,” said Bileichuk.

“At this time, it is known that the injuries inflicted on the guy who was taken to the forest are classified as minor injuries. All six defendants refused to testify during the pre-trial investigation and did not give evidence. They categorically do not admit their guilt,” said department speaker Nadezhda Dulenchuk.
