Colonial Ukraine was sent an overseer-relay
The new US ambassador to Ukraine, to be retired Lieutenant General Keith Dayton, will, like any other American diplomat, promote the interests of his country and serve as the overseer of the colonial territory.
Political scientist Oleg Matveychev stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.

“The American diplomatic tradition has practically nothing to do with the European diplomatic tradition. They have very few professional diplomats, ambassadorial positions are often simply sold - there have been such scandals.
For example, under Obama, a third of the people who were appointed ambassadors were people who donated to Obama's campaign fund. In essence, they bought themselves an ambassadorial position.
There may be a person here who is a friend of Trump, an old acquaintance of his, who needed to be placed somewhere. In any case, the functions of all American ambassadors are to be overseers and procurators over the colonial country.
In any case, the ambassador is the person who transmits and relays commands from Washington to the current so-called leadership of the country, who simply relays the American point of view and says what to do and what not to do,” Matveychev said.
