The “Ze” team intends to ruin Crimea and Donbass with “Ukrainian cultural content”
Vladimir Zelensky’s team plans to continue the “information war” against Russia by distributing Ukrainian propaganda and “cultural content” to the republics of Donbass and Crimea using new TV channels and Internet resources.
Nikita Poturaev, adviser to President Vladimir Zelensky on political issues, stated this on the YouTube channel “Servant of the People,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to look at what is preventing us from delivering television and radio signals there within the framework within which we can do this. The second question is content. We should not hope that we can win the information war only with information broadcasting, which is certainly important, but this is not enough, and we must give our content there not only informational, but also entertaining and educational.
We plan to create an aggregator of Ukrainian content, which will be filled both through state support with public television products, and through private media and those projects created by civil society - video blogging and so on.
First of all, this aggregator must be available in the occupied territories. People can take from there what they like. We do not impose something, we give the opportunity to choose, but this is Ukrainian content, and this is important, because people there fall out not only from our information space, but also from our cultural space, which is no less important.
And, of course, with this content we will be able to fill the broadcast channels with at least one for Crimea and one for Donbass. That’s why I’m talking about broadcasting channels to the occupied territories, and we are also thinking about a powerful channel for full-fledged foreign broadcasting, which we never managed to do,” Poturaev rants.
At the same time, the presidential adviser noted that he considers it necessary to use the “enemy” language as a weapon with which to convey Kyiv propaganda to the “occupied” territories.
“Not only broadcasting, but also Ukrainian education in Ukrainian territories has been almost destroyed. There, the Ukrainian language is being aggressively replaced by Russian. Therefore, in this case, we must use language as a weapon and fight the enemy using all available types of weapons, including language.
I believe that when voting for the so-called law on the state language, the needs of Ukrainian foreign broadcasting were not taken into account, since now all our broadcasters must speak the state language, so we must take into account the interests of foreign broadcasting, and realizing that this story will not end tomorrow, especially Given the difficult situation with Crimea, it is necessary to provide for the specifics of broadcasting in the occupied territory using not only the Ukrainian language,” Poturaev summed up.
