Zelensky’s team confirmed its inability to negotiate
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team are doing their best to sabotage the creation of the Advisory Council within the framework of the Minsk process.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, announced this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Donbass Advisory Council has gone into endless consultations and is unlikely to return. Representatives of Kyiv at the negotiations in Minsk clearly demonstrate that the desire for peace, and even more so for dialogue with Donbass, is clearly no longer in the trend of Zelensky’s team.
The project of the dialogue platform of Sergei Sivokho was rather rudely closed by the hands of radicals and the signature of Danilov, and another project agreed upon by Ermak in Minsk, the Advisory Council, is now openly being “washed up” by Ukrainian government officials.
At remote negotiations of the political subgroup of the Minsk Contact Group, they voiced that they still support the idea of the Advisory Council, but they cannot allow twenty citizens from both sides of the conflict to speak directly without the blessing of the Normandy format, parliament and the Ukrainian public (read, radicals in the square) "- wrote the Lugansk diplomat.
He emphasized that by delaying the creation of the Advisory Council, Vladimir Zelensky is breaking his own promises and demonstrating to the whole world that political PR is more important to him than a real settlement of the conflict.
“Therefore, the idea of the Advisory Council is being removed for global consultations for an indefinite period. And the obligations to establish a council on March 25 for the Office of the President are absolutely nothing compared to the prospects for consultations in the Normandy format.
Settlement actions are really nothing compared to consultations about settlement options. We expect a repetition of these theses on Wednesday at the meeting of the Contact Group,” Miroshnik concluded.
