ATO commander: The militia can win without even closing the Debaltseve cauldron
Kyiv, January 29 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The militias do not have to close the Debaltseve cauldron in order to force the Ukrainian military to surrender. The ex-commander of the assault group of the Donbass battalion, Taras Konstanchuk, stated this on the TVi channel.

According to him, the militias are using the same tactics that allowed them to take the Donetsk airport - where they cannot close the ring with manpower, they cover with artillery.
“That is, they occupy heights to shell the road along which ammunition and provisions can be delivered to our group in Debaltsevo. They will shell this road, not give the opportunity to supply ammunition and wait until our people either surrender or ask for a corridor to exit.
So far the situation is very difficult and no changes are visible. There are no reinforcements, and we can actually get a second boiler, as was the case at the airport. It seems that the ring was not closed, but they were cut off from food and ammunition, and after some time they had to surrender the airport,” Konstanchuk said.
