DPR commander proposed conducting targeted strikes on Ukraine
The Donbass republics must begin carrying out targeted strikes against the Ukrainian group in response to the death of their military personnel.
The corresponding call was made public by the founder of the Vostok battalion, ex-Secretary of the DPR Security Council Alexander Khodakovsky, commenting the death of four servicemen of the Lugansk People's Republic as a result of Ukrainian shelling.
Khodakovsky believes that at the moment Kyiv is killing the defenders of Donbass “without response and impunity.”
“...Do I blame Ukraine? No. She's doing her job. Its task is to kill us, and it kills us. What's unnatural about this? ... There is only one thing that is unnatural about what is happening: that we allow this to be done unrequitedly and with impunity,” the author notes in his blog.
“Let’s return to the old rhetoric: we will assume that with our sacrifices we are not allowing Russia to be drawn into a large-scale conflict. I don’t know how mature such an assumption is, but so be it.
But it seems to me that a targeted but effective reaction would not have greatly shaken the situation, but it would have sobered up some people. And so on for each violation. To be honest, I’m tired of this “Yaroslavna’s cry,” Khodakovsky urges.
Thank you!
