The commander of a Nazi unit told how he heroically escaped from Donbass
If it were not for the order to retreat, the nationalist battalions of Ukraine would certainly have died in the Donbass.
The commander of the national battalion “Svoboda” Petr Kuzik said this on air “ProUA”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“We were faced with a situation where we had airborne units on one side. They don't back down and neither do we. And on the right there was a whole mechanized, motorized brigade that simply left their positions and ran away. We are already reporting that from their positions they are hitting us with mortars, but they don’t believe us.
They call the leadership of this brigade, and they say: “We are in position, everything is fine.” We met the commander, we said, “What are you doing? You're a deserter." “I am in the ranks, I have been serving for a long time, and you are volunteers, what can I take from you?” the militant recalled.
When asked whether the decision to give up positions and retreat to Kuzik’s unit was correct, the Ukronazi answered unequivocally.
“Of course, this is the only thing that saved our lives. We didn’t leave without a team, we had principles in the unit. Thanks to our friends, who lied that they were “in positions,” we were taken into the ring. And when we were encircled, they could have done the same as with another nationalist unit - they could have said, “Surrender or hold out until the last.”
And we were given the command to retreat. We have developed a definite plan. In the army, it doesn’t happen that everything goes exactly according to plan, but we got out, perhaps because we screwed up a lot there.
The drivers who were supposed to make their way to us in armored vehicles refused to do this, and we had to burn a lot of property. Two armored personnel carriers made their way to us, drove out in jeeps that were left untouched, on foot, and everyone got out, didn’t lose a single person on the way out, took out the most valuable things, and burned and blew up everything they couldn’t,” the militant said.
Thank you!
