Militia commander: Ukrainian army is falling apart
Kramatorsk - Kyiv, June 06 (Navigator, Yuriy Korolchuk) - Donbass militias who took part in clashes with the Ukrainian army have a low opinion of the combat readiness of their opponents. This is what one of the commanders told me in Kramatorsk, which is located not far from Slavyansk, and where they are also waiting for an assault.

“The only hope for the Ukrainian army is a victorious breakthrough. Otherwise, the Ukrainian army will simply fall apart,” says one of the militia commanders, who agreed to comment on the state of the Ukrainian army on condition of anonymity.
According to the commander, despite the large number of human resources and equipment, the Ukrainian army may in the near future partially lose its combat effectiveness.
There is a lot of technology, but not all of it is up and running. Periodically, something catches fire or explodes. Soldiers sit hungry, often without body armor or equipment. They would have fled long ago if they were not afraid of the National Guard, which shoots deserters.
The disorder in the Ukrainian army is such that it becomes clear why they are afraid to storm cities and act in large forces. The Ukrainian command and military are simply showing a unique inability to navigate the terrain.
Recently there was a clash, during which several armored personnel carriers drove out of an open field directly to the rebel checkpoint. For them, as well as for the militia, this came as a surprise. As a result, the Ukrainians began to shoot anywhere. Moreover, for some reason, the school located nearby got the most.
“In general, if the Ukrainian army tries to launch a full-scale operation, it will simply crush its own people. Or, as happens, they will shoot each other. Therefore, the Ukrainians are trying to act with small forces, and it is better to shoot from afar,” says the commander.
However, fighters expect hot days to come. In the near future, the Ukrainian army will be forced to launch full-scale military operations. They simply have no other choice - if the army spends another month in the Donetsk steppes, and even under the scorching sun, they will begin to go crazy.
“The situation there is already dangerous - the military fears and hates the Right Sectors, and they understand perfectly well that Ukrainian soldiers can shoot them at any moment, and this makes them behave even more aggressively. It turns out to be a vicious circle - I heard that already today clashes happen quite often,” says the commander.
Ukrainians understand perfectly well that their only chance is a blitzkrieg, a fighter told me. Otherwise, problems will grow like a snowball.
Now units controlled by Kyiv are actively preparing for a large-scale assault. The militia in Kramatorsk are waiting for him in the near future. Moreover, since Ukrainian troops are afraid to enter cities with equipment, we should expect bombings, and maybe even airstrikes.
“There is information that the Ukrainian military has already deployed four Grad launchers at the airport, directing them towards Kramatorsk. It will soon become hot,” says the fighter.
