Militia commander: Poroshenko still has an extreme option left
Petro Poroshenko is unlikely to give an order in the near future to repeat the campaign of Ukrainian Navy boats to the Kerch Strait; Kiev is left with an extreme option - an attack on the Donbass republics, but this scenario will be saved for now.
This forecast was published in his blog by the former head of the DPR Security Council and commander of the Vostok battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Only yesterday, in response to fears that on the eve of the end of martial law, Poroshenko would resort to another provocation, I said that he would simply cancel it. Firstly, he rehearsed the performance, and secondly, he does not have an intermediate script.
To repeat something like the “Kerch breakthrough” is to put yourself in an even more stupid position, because the laws of the genre say that it is necessary to build up, and in stock there is only an extreme option in the form of military intervention, which still needs to be decided on.
And it’s better to save the last trump card for a rainy day - a false start will be costly. So let’s chew sugar-free gum for now,” says Khodakovsky.
