The commander of the detained Ukrainian boat issued an ultimatum
The commander of the Berdyansk boat, Roman Mokryak, whom Russian special services detained in the Kerch Strait area on November 25 for violating the state border, today told the investigation that he demands that he and his crew be treated as prisoners of war, and that he will not give any testimony to the Russian authorities until his subordinates are released, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by Mokryak’s Russian lawyer Ilya Novikov on your Facebook page.
“As a commander, he believes that he alone is responsible for what is happening on board, his crew followed his orders and cannot be held accountable,” Novikov writes.
In fact, the commander of “Berdyansk” is only repeating what is heard from the mouths of Ukrainian politicians on TV screens.
