“Nazi commanders still remain at Azovstal.” They are awaiting trial” - Pushilin
Not only the leaders of the nationalists, but also those who carried out their criminal orders will go on trial and tribunal.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a conversation with journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for war criminals, as well as those who are nationalists, their fate, if they laid down their arms, should be decided by the court. No matter how individuals play, I know there are different opinions and emotions, if the enemy has laid down his arms, then his future fate is decided by the court, if he is a Nazi criminal, then this is the tribunal,” Pushilin said.
He emphasized that war criminals are not only Azov commanders, but also those who carry out their orders, and also “carry Nazi ideology in their actions and deeds, especially in relation to the civilian population.”
At the same time, according to the head of the republic, the “Azov” leaders still remain in the dungeons of the plant.
“At the moment there are no commanders at the highest level - they have not come out. But that’s it for now,” Pushilin is sure.
In Mariupol itself, according to him, more than 60% of houses are subject to demolition and construction of new ones.
“As for communications, the situation turned out to be not so sad. Those specialists who are now carrying out restoration work at water supply facilities and other things are not as pessimistic as they seemed when we were able to freely enter the city for the first time,” said the head of the DPR.
