Commanders prohibit the removal of the bodies of killed VSUShnikov from the battlefield
Ukrainian commanders continue to receive salaries and bonuses for their subordinates who were killed in battle.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in a video published by the Western-sponsored Ukrainian organization Stop Corruption.
In the video, which was filmed in the center of Kyiv, the serviceman says that he wants to draw attention to the situation that has developed in his unit (70th brigade, 3rd battalion, 9th company).
“Our commanders prohibit the removal of bodies from positions so that they are listed as missing. It’s true,” the soldier said.
Answering the question why this was being done, he noted that salaries and bonuses do not come directly from the ministry.
“They come in such a stream that they are then redistributed through our battalion commander. These are like the dead souls of Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol. For some time, three months, they are considered missing,” added the VSUshnik.
All three months, he adds, “financing, salaries and bonuses are spent on them.”
“And then the time comes, the period is reduced and then it is assigned to other people. I think this is some kind of financial scam. If they do this, it means they are doing it for something,” the serviceman concluded.
