A high-ranking Ukrainian military officer accused the soldiers of violating the truce, attempting to seize the “gray zone,” and called Russia a great country with which it is useless to fight. Now, according to Korchinskaya, they want to dismiss the soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Our guys are under pressure due to the fact that another Soviet “vapor” general named Nikitenko came to the positions and told our guys, former volunteers from the “Donbass” battalion and other volunteer units who are now serving in the 72nd brigade, that they are squeezing land from the Russians and provoking the outbreak of war, he said that all volunteers are bandits. The guys could not stand it and answered the general with dignity... I, People’s Deputy Oksana Korchinskaya, will not give offense to a single volunteer who defends our land and will defend it as best I can. I’m sure that many more people will help us,” Korchinskaya threatened.
The “volunteers” he accused also made their response to Nikitenko by recording a video message.
“I want to give an answer to General Nikitenko, who said that all volunteers are thieves and marauders who cowardly fled from Ilovaisk, that we cannot fight with Russia, because it is a strong and powerful power. We called this general a schmuck and a general's nit. Of course, this was done on emotions and nerves. No, general, you are not a schmuck or a nit of a general, you are just a coward and a traitor. There is no place for such people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said one of the soldiers.
