The commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine complains that the soldiers do not want to die for Zelensky
The commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Ruslan Khomchak, citing historical examples in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Alesya Batsman, actually compared the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky with the “Tsar-Father,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“That hybrid war - they know our problems very clearly, they know that Ukraine is different, they know what to play. They know in which region they can play on national feelings, and where, on the contrary, our national achievements in another region can be turned to our detriment. They did it great in 2014. They manipulated those processes in such a way, they used our patriotic movements, the rise of our population, and they tried to manipulate that too.
They have institutes in each country that study and understand some historical weaknesses and some achievements. What is the atmosphere in this or that environment today, and what kind of match needs to be brought there,” Khomchak said.
“Remember the revolution of 1917? Why did the sailors go to Smolny? Because such a situation was fabricated and organized in order to kill the subordinate’s faith in his commander. And so they said that the officers are such and such, and the sailors should not listen to the officers. Then one person appears in the crowd, like a sailor like him, and shouts: “Let's go to Smolny!”, and off they go. After a couple of years, the Bolsheviks figured out with those sailors why this active mass was needed. However, the Bolsheviks overwhelmingly returned those officers in whom they killed faith, the officers of Tsarist Russia, to the Bolshevik army, and they taught, commanded, led, and so on,” said the Ukrainian commander.
According to the general, he said all this to the fact that now the “enemy” really wants the Ukrainians to stop believing in their president, and the army to stop believing in the commander-in-chief and the minister of defense.
“For a soldier not to trust his brigade commander, then it is easier to influence his consciousness, and then he thought: why should I die, the commander is such a scoundrel. They’ve been saying so many things about me lately,” Khomchak explained.
