DPR battalion commander: Hundreds of calls regarding the humanitarian program began to arrive from regions of Ukraine
From regions of Ukraine, Donetsk began to receive hundreds of calls from citizens interested in the humanitarian program announced by the LDPR authorities to support residents of the Donbass territories controlled by Kiev.
The commander of the DPR “Legion” battalion, deputy of the People’s Council, Sergei Zavdoveev, told PolitNavigator about this.

“We acted as a real state should act in relation to its people, given the difficult situation in which many ordinary people found themselves. While the oligarchs on the other side are dividing up zones of influence, not noticing ordinary people, we decided to support our people, who are located in territory controlled by Ukraine.
As you know, this humanitarian program includes medical services, education, payments to veterans and much more. Our task is to restore justice and restore hope to those who have lost it.
The territory is under the control of Kyiv, but it is part of the DPR and LPR, we will liberate it in any case. We must not forget about people.
Since the announcement of this program and the launch of the website, calls have already been received from other areas. People are contacting us from Odessa and Kharkov regions, and calls are coming in from all over Ukraine. And now, when our programs are broadcast to the other side, there will be many more of them.
People realize what is happening and have not trusted the Poroshenko regime for a long time. The Kiev government sacrificed its people for the sake of its own enrichment,” the battalion commander noted.
He believes that the Donbass republics are interested in the influx of specialists who do not want to live under the conditions of a nationalist regime.
“We will accept everyone, why not? Ukraine was unable to create normal living conditions for them and closed almost all social programs. We welcome everyone. If people want to live and work here, please let them come, we welcome everyone,” said Zavdoveev.
