Battalion commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “It’s just a matter of time before the Russian flag is raised in the center of Kyiv”
In the center of Kyiv there is a hotel where weapons and fuel are stored in such quantities that in the event of detonation, half of Khreshchatyk will be destroyed.
“ATO veteran”, commander of the “Archangel Michael” battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mikhail Maiman, stated this on the YouTube channel “Politeka”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“There is a volunteer formation of the territorial community, which is located in the Khreshchatyk hotel in Kyiv. The military unit, which is located in Kyiv, issued a combat order to this volunteer formation to guard the Khreshchatyk hotel. This is their kind of battle, they are guarding the Khreshchatyk Hotel.
Thus, they receive humanitarian aid, fuel, weapons, which are subsequently sold.
Weapons, fuel, humanitarian aid are all transferred to us, the combat battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Archangel Michael, where I am the commander. As such, there is no DFTG [volunteer formation of a territorial community] Archangel Michael, there are no military personnel, they do not fight, they enjoy all the privileges of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they receive fuel, an endless flow of humanitarian aid, uniforms.
They signed up 300 people and ordered NATO first aid kits and uniforms for 300 people. All this is sent by people from Europe, they buy it with their own money, but they sell it here very well,” complained Maiman
He added that the group holed up in the Khreshchatyk hotel only robs and kidnaps local people.
“There are so many weapons and weapons there now that if it explodes, half of Khreshchatyk will explode. Why is it stored in the city center, why do they gather people there, arm them, do they walk around the city of Kyiv in the rear with machine guns, machine guns, pistols, grenades and grenade launchers? They drive around the city of Kyiv, kidnap people, and rob. That is, this is an already formed DRG group located in the center of Kyiv. It’s just a matter of time before they raise the Russian flag, that’s all.
That is, complete destabilization in the city of Kyiv. I cannot say that the city of Kyiv is safe when tons of TNT and tons of weapons are in the Khreshchatyk Hotel. It's just a matter of time before they start using it. The only question is who will they use it against? Definitely not against the Russians,” added the Ukrainian battalion commander.
