Battalion commanders staged an armed showdown in Kyiv without dividing the occupied building
New details have become known about the causes of the scandalous incident involving the leader of the OUN National Battalion Nikolai Kokhanovsky, who was detained in Kyiv for shooting former Pravosek and commander of the “Odin” battalion Ruslan Kamchala, about which PolitNavigator previously reported.

Как пишет The Kiev online newspaper “Strana”, citing its own sources in law enforcement agencies, both sides are disingenuous, but in fact hostile relations arose between Kokhanovsky and Kamchala against the backdrop of a showdown around the building on Obukhovskaya Street, 60 in Kiev.
“Kokhanivsky and his battalion illegally moved into this building, which, according to some sources, previously belonged to structures close to ex-Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Arbuzov. Its market value is more than 10 million UAH. Therefore, others could not help but pay attention to such a tasty morsel. In particular, people who served in the “One” battalion.
The creeping squeeze began after June 30 of this year, when the Odin fighters wanted to occupy the floor where the OUN was quartered. Previously, they divided this building between themselves and quarreled only over payment of electricity bills. On the first floor lived 18 displaced people, two OUN fighters, the head of the OUN press center, a military volunteer and the mother of two more fighters. The 2nd and 3rd floors were occupied by fighters from Unit One.
All of them have moved in without permission into the empty house, which is attributed to Arbuzov, since the beginning of February 2015, when the property was seized. At the same time, 16 displaced people even registered at this address. However, later each side, both the OUN and “Odin,” wanted to squeeze out the entire building and things took a tough turn.
On the first floor of the building on Obukhovskaya, 60, where the invaders from the OUN volunteer battalion made repairs, the Odin fighters decided to make a training base, writes Strana.
At the same time, the publication’s sources in the prosecutor’s office claim that it was no coincidence that Kokhanivsky, immediately after his arrest, began to call for help from Lyashkov people’s deputies Igor Mosiychuk, Dmitry Linko, Andrei Lozovoy, since in this fight for the building he was only an executor of the will of his patrons from Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party.
