Utility companies admitted: seven thousand Kiev residents received payments for water that they did not consume
In August, about seven thousand residents of Kyiv received incorrect receipts for water.

This was announced by the director of the settlement department of JSC AK Kievvodokanal Valery Lyulin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“About seven thousand users this month received charges in the region of 50 cubic meters, although they did not transmit the figures. We are now analyzing this situation. I think that we will automatically recalculate,” Lyulin said.
He noted that if the correct indications were submitted and the expenses were adequate, then in subsequent receipts the accruals would be made in accordance with the indicators that were transmitted.
“Even if you receive receipts with incorrect charges, (you need - ed.) to pay according to actual use, independently calculating the amount to be paid. Next month we will take all necessary measures to ensure that the next receipts are correct,” added Lyulin.
