But the traffic police did not appreciate such a patriotic experiment and fined the director of the Housing and Communal Services Department, Alexander Babchinsky, 1000 UAH for embroidering at an intersection.
“The traffic police explained to us that embroidery can distract the driver from the road and lead to an accident. But, most likely, they were simply offended that we did not agree with them on this change. We will not disassemble or paint over the embroidery, since it is practically invisible from the car,” said Deputy Mayor of the city Sergei Babiy
According to him, the red and green tiles are very pale and do not distract attention, but are only clearly visible after rain.
