The communists demanded to truthfully perpetuate the memory of Yeltsin
The Communist Party of the Russian Federation begins a series of protests against the construction of a branch of the Yekaterinburg “Yeltsin Center” in the center of Moscow.
Deputy Denis Parfenov told reporters about this today on the sidelines of the Russian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In our opinion, this is an extremely dangerous and harmful initiative, given that in Yekaterinburg this center has been poisoning the consciousness of our youth, who are being driven there according to regulations, with its false propaganda for the fourth year in a row. The entire thousand-year history of our country is presented there exclusively in a negative light in the spirit of the most disgusting Goebbels propaganda,” Parfenov said.
According to him, 13 billion rubles have been allocated from the state budget for the construction and maintenance of the Yeltsin Center.
“The era of Yeltsin’s rule must be covered honestly. Therefore, there should be panoramic reconstructions of gang wars, images of poor doctors and professors who sell at flea markets. A wet airplane wheel, conductor’s batons, wooden spoons, stolen ballots and everything else should be displayed there,” Parfenov said.
