Communists in the Duma are trying to distance themselves from Grudinin
The rule on exemption from criminal liability in economic cases, adopted today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation as part of the “capital amnesty” package, has a pronounced class character.
Communist deputy Denis Parfenov stated this today in the Russian parliament.

“It turns out that the one who stole 100 rubles will go to jail, and the one who took billions abroad will become the flagship of the economy,” Parfenov said.
In response, the chairman of the budget committee, Andrei Makarov, transparently hinted at the foreign accounts of the presidential candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Pavel Grudinin.
“Apparently, you need to show that the faction is uncompromisingly fighting against accounts opened abroad,” Makarov quipped.
Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin assured that the bill on “capital amnesty” had passed international examinations.
“These decisions will in no way be a loophole for those who made money through criminal means,” Volodin said.
