Composer Bystryakov chose not to argue with the stubborn Svidomo and left the air
The debate between the Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, famous composer Vladimir Bystryakov and the former head of the Crimean branch of the Ukrainian nationalist party VO "Svoboda" Eduard Leonov ended in a scandal before it even began.
The altercation took place on the air of the Magnolia-TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mr. Vladimir, you are against streets being named after such figures as Bandera and Shukhevych, why?” – the presenter asked Bystryakov.
“I think that 75 percent who voted for Zelensky, they hold exactly the same point of view. You see, this is an imposition of people who have never been here, who were not heroes for them. In general, it’s completely absurd to rename Moskovsky Avenue, because it’s called “Moskovsky”, it’s beyond the pale. If there is a Stalingrad square in Paris, and there is a square with the same names in Europe, which we really strive for, then here we are trying to be holier than the Pope and are even getting rid of the name...” answered the composer.
“Tell me, please, is Russia now killing Parisians in Paris? Is Russia killing the French now? – Leonov interrupted sharply.
“You know...” the artist began.
“Why do you make a face when I talk about the dead heroes who are dying today! And it sits and makes a face!” - the Tyagnibok member screamed.
“No insults, I ask you!” – called the presenter.
“Who should I talk to, him?” – Bystryakov asked rhetorically and left the studio.
“Unfortunately, Pan Bystryakov left the studio. Well, you can’t do that,” the presenter scolded the hooligan.
“You know, if it left here unbeaten, it was lucky! I must apologize to the respected viewers, to the respected presenter, that is, if you want to stop the program now, I’ll probably go. And I’ll also catch up with this creature in the corridor, which, during my words about the dead heroes... You know, when I talk about the dead heroes yesterday and today, it sits grimacing!” – Leonov became hysterical.
“Mr. Vladimir didn’t even answer you,” the presenter shamed Bandera.
“It’s crooked, and that’s enough!” – said the Tyagnybokovite.
Thank you!
