The main organizers of the march were the nationalist parties VO “Svoboda” and “Right Sector”, which were joined by several smaller nationalist organizations.

Initially, it was planned that “Svoboda” and “Right Sector” would be held separately, but in the end they decided to unite into one event.

Before the start of the demonstration, its participants were warmed up by the presenters.

“Who owns Ukraine?” was heard over the loudspeaker.

“Ukrainians!” they answered. Similar questions, which were answered in the affirmative, also followed in relation to Donetsk and Kuban, which is currently part of the Russian Federation.

Before the start of the procession, its participants lit torches, after which they set off, going down Shevchenko Boulevard to Khreshchatyk and proceeding to Independence Square.

Along the route, nationalists called on strangers to remember that the owners here are Ukrainians, chanted traditional chants calling for the hanging of communists, demanded state recognition of the OUN-UPA, sang a song with the words “Muscovites to knives,” and also glorified Ukraine and its heroes.

It is worth noting that in addition to honoring Stepan Bandera, his followers called for an end to the regime of internal occupation and to oppose the oligarchs and liberals. At the same time, Svoboda people's deputy Andrei Ilyenko, who was asked by a PolitNavigator correspondent to name the names of anti-Ukrainian oligarchs, did not do this, only noting that everyone already knows their names.

The march ended with a rally on the Maidan, during which the leader of the All-Union Organization “Svoboda” Oleg Tyagnibok said that Ukraine is currently at war with its eternal enemy Muscovy and promised that the Bandera banner will fly over the entire planet.
